don’t ya hate it when you want to share something but can’t?

days 4-6

The snow days continued and I again found myself hanging out with students.  Not that I’m complaining, I love it!  But it does mean some things I planned on getting done didn’t happen.  Or they happened later than I intended.  I hung out till 5 with students and then set up shop in a coffee house and worked on the new youth website till the place closed.  I was going to find another shop but thought I had better head home since I had 5 cups of coffee in 2 hours.  I have a good bladder but not that good!

Day 5 saw me working again on the website.  I worked in the office for a time to have access to the server and some files but moved again to the coffee shop after lunch.  This time I only had 2 cups of coffee in 5 hours.  That night saw me starting to realize I really missed Melissa.  I was about to call her and tell her to come on home but realized that would be silly since I’d be gone the next day and have to work all day Sunday.

Day 6 – headed to Nashville with 10 leaders for a half day conference about transformation.  It was good in many ways – it made me think, it challenged my leaders and gave me some good time with leaders I normally don’t get a lot of time with.  The afternoon was spent listening to ball games, playing some games on the laptop and finalizing lessons for college and 7th & 8th grade boys.  It really is interesting when I have to teach both in the same day. 

On a side note, Melissa comes home today.  This makes me happy cause I’m ready to see her, talk with her face to face, just look at her, and hopefully return to some semblance of a sleep schedule.

On another side note, we head back to Mississippi later in the week.  Oh joy – I get to drive the Trace in the dark…
